Summary: Rev4 Engineering, a division of Analysis Express Inc., seeks a well-rounded, outgoing mechanical engineer with R&D design/manufacturing experience. In this role you will work with world-class engineers in highly regulated product development environments. 

• KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:   
• Execute specific & general assignments as an active member of a R&D team.
• Provide innovative, functional, cost effective & validated product designs.
• Develop, design and execute mechanical testing in a regulated environment
• Creation & maintenance of documentation related to design testing & development of a broad range of products & intellectual properties.
• Understanding the design requirements of the project.
• Understand the interaction between components of the product. Use this understanding to design and develop test fixtures and test methods for components and sub-assemblies.
• Develop and execute mechanical testing as per developed methods, collect/analyze data and develop technical reports and engineering studies
• Build fixtures, prototypes, and systems for testing; along with setting up and running laboratory simulations
• Analyze root causes of failure and suggest changes and improvements to the design based on the test results.
• Create mathematical models of subsystems and analyze their performance under various scenarios. 
• Create detailed technical reports based on test and data findings 
  
   
  
  
• KEY SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:  
  
   

• CAD design experience (SolidWorks preferred, or NX, Creo/ProE)
• Mechanical Testing: Design of Experiment, planning and preparation of testing equipment/rigs and materials, execution of testing and data generation, data analysis and reporting.
• Experience using Data Analysis tools such as: (Excel, Minitab, Matlab)
• Python programming for data wrangling
• Experience taking products from conceptual development into production
• Able to incorporate production & manufacturing principles into product design
• Mechanism design & development
• Strong collaboration and teaming skills to work with manufacturing engineering and suppliers to understand the considerations associated with Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), Design to Cost (DTC), and working with other team members and consultants to produce prototypes and optimize designs for manufacturability.
• Able to handle rapid pace environment

• Minimum of or BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering field.

SUMMARY:  Analysis Express Inc. is recognized for its expertise in engineering and technology consulting services, including solutions that support many facets of engineering projects, engineering systems & data management, project management and data integration services that contribute to the long-term success of its clients. The ideal candidate should have experience in a variety of data analytics areas including data mining, data transfer and visualization within an agile project development framework.   

1.      GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:   

• Develop, implement, and maintain leading-edge analytic systems, taking complicated problems and building simple frameworks 
• Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex data sets 
• Evaluate organizational methods and provide source-to-target mappings and information-model specification documents for data sets 
• Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization 
• Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, developing and maintaining protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data 

2.      DELIVERABLES 

• Participate in design and development of calculation data models using tools such as dbt and SQL for analytics 

• Design versioned service endpoints that evolve over time 
• Deploy components in a Cloud-based Kubernetes environment 
• Build SQL DDL and DML Queries that execute against Snowflake and PostgreSQL environments 
• Perform unit and integration testing in PyTest 

3.      KEY SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:  

• Experience with Extract Transfer Load (ETL) tools such as (DBT, Informatica, SSIS) 
• 2+ Years Python for data wrangling and common library formats (TensorFlow, NumPy, SciPy, Pandas) 
• 1+ years of experience using FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQL Alchemy Frameworks 
• Experience unit and integration testing 
• Database/warehouse/cloud experience: Snowflake preferred, AWS, Azure. 
• Exposure to Big Data tools and concepts such as Hadoop, Spark, PySpark, 
• 2+ years of experience with automated unit testing using PyTest 
• (Preferred) Experience building metadata driven highly dynamic services 
• (Preferred) Experience building SQL DDL and DML Queries for running Data Analytics against Large Data Sets (Snowflake) 
• Experience with RESTful APIs  
• Experience with using CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions Preferred) 

4.      QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or Statistics 
• 2+ years of experience mining data as a data analyst/engineer 
• Working within Agile Project Management methodologies 
• Proven analytic skills, including mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization 
• Self-directed, able to work with minimal supervision
